Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are"
Carl Jung
At times in life, we may feel lost, stuck, or unsure of our direction. Yet these experiences can also become the starting point of an inner journey, opening up a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationships with others.
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist practising in West London.
I trained at WPF Therapy and the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF), and offer psychotherapy in both English and German.
Beginning therapy can sometimes feel daunting, but by being here you have already taken the first step. Everything that follows, we will approach together.

What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a form of talking therapy that can help people make sense of difficult emotions, relationship issues and other challenges. Through the process of talking with a trained therapist, it may become possible to develop a deeper understanding of oneself and make changes to patterns that may be causing difficulties in your life. Therapy can help when you are facing a particular problem, but it can also be valuable when there is not necessarily something wrong, only a wish to live with greater understanding, meaning, or fulfilment. In my practice, people often come to therapy with concerns such as: - Anxiety and worry - Low mood or depression - Low self-esteem - Relationship difficulties - Life transitions - Bereavement and loss - Questions of identity, meaning, or purpose
How I work
I focus on how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the way we see ourselves and others in the present. Understanding these patterns can help us make sense of our emotions and interactions with the people around us, and respond differently to life’s challenges. My approach is open and collaborative. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences, considering both what is happening in the present and how earlier experiences may continue to influence your life. We may also become curious about aspects of experience that are not yet fully conscious. I offer a confidential space in which whatever may be causing distress, confusion, or difficulty can be explored. The pace of the work is guided by you, allowing trust and understanding to develop over time. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly, either in person at the Kensington Counselling Practice or online. Decisions about the length and shape of therapy are guided by your individual needs and preferences.
